ZCLASSIC CE – WHO WE ARE
We are a community group who are actively supporting and maintaining ZClassic over a period
which extends through until the BTCP team are in a position to announce the next official ZClassic team.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
Tireless love for ZClassic and its use-case, we continue to mine and actively develop its infrastructure. We can be contacted through a number of social media sources using any of the links below.
We are grateful to all volunteers and contributors who are supplying their time and expertise to allow us to continue to support the infrastructure of ZClassic for the benefit of the community.
Development to directly support the community will continue and includes support for existing wallets. New electron based wallets and mining dashboards are already in the planning phase.
NEW ELECTRON WALLET
Despite our busy schedules, we take time to constantly update the infrastructure to ensure stability and security. Follow our active development on Github.
NEW WALLET FEATURES
To be at par with the latest technology, we have added new features on the Electron wallet to be compatible with the new ZClassicCE infrastructure. The new wallet is actively being developed and will be released for testing soon.
MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND VOLUNTEER
Join the development community and together let’s continue to make a stable, fast and secure ZClassic infrastructure.
CALL FOR FULL NODES
Being a community-driven project, we are always looking for like-minded people who believe in ZClassic to run full nodes. The information on why we need more people running full nodes is explained in the Medium article below.
WHAT IS A NODE?
A full node is a program that validates transactions. They also help the network by accepting transactions from other full nodes, validating those transactions and then relaying them onward (to other nodes).
WHY ARE THEY NEEDED?
Without nodes, there will be nothing to connect to – wallets wouldn’t be able to connect, nodes wouldn’t be able to connect to other nodes – in short, there would be no ZClassic.
LET’S DO THIS!
Great – just follow the links below which should let you download and setup a working node – instructions for setup are on the download page.
